Raman Lab

Our group studies the physics of ultracold atoms, specifically quantum degenerate gases and Bose-Einstein condensation. We are interested in the structure and dynamical evolution of these complex, many-body quantum entities. Our recent work focuses on spinor gases and topological defects, and lies at the interface with quantum condensed matter. Apart from fundamental studies we are also interested in magnetic field sensors based on ultracold gases. We have a postdoctoral position in spinor BEC.
